"The Flagship"

The goal of this project was to bring the Boston Whaler brand to places its never gone before. The research told us customers wanted a flexible fishing platform. Many builders offered a fishing-oriented boat with little comfort. Others offered boats with comfort but limited fishing ability. We set out to create a boat that does both with ease. Customers have reacted well and it maintains a top spot in the saltwater fish market.

Experience-oriented innovation

We focused our efforts on solutions to problem we knew customers had with current boats. A convertible second row seat gets out of the way when you don’t need it. A T-shaped hardtop allows the customer to gain maximum interior by stepping the deck up and increasing headroom below. An aft face door allows a customer to run thier boat with the door open and ventilate the interior.
